Bucharest, April 29, 2025 – Danubius Exim, a leader in fiscal equipment and payment technologies in Romania, launches the FP950MX, the intelligent fiscal printer, designed entirely in-house, which communicates with the National Fiscal Administration Agency systems and completely digitizes the fiscal process of retailers in the retail and HoReCa industries. The new product strengthens Danubius Exim's status as a pioneer in the fiscal industry and opens a new chapter in digitalized retail, in which companies benefit from a paperless and fully automated ally, which minimizes the risk of human error.
FP950MX, the printer that checksmates tax bureaucracy
In a context marked by accelerated changes – such as the implementation of SAF-T, e-Invoice, e-VAT, the national e-cash register system or the intensification of digitalization in the tax administration – shops and restaurants need partners to help them navigate these transformations with agility. Although the pressure of compliance is increasing, many taxpayers in Romania still use manual reporting methods, which involve hours, even days of work, resource consumption and an increased risk of errors.
To meet these real business needs, Danubius Exim developed the FP950MX, the printer that aims to reduce bureaucracy and mistakes and allow companies to focus on what really matters – business development.
"FP950MX is the result of a solid analysis carried out over the last 7 years, in which the needs of merchants in terms of reporting to accounting and ANAF were particularly followed. At the same time, special emphasis was also placed on securing this information and how it can be used for customer loyalty purposes. In a climate of accelerated change, FP950MX offers merchants a fully digitalized solution, which combines the accuracy of tax reporting with their need for speed, control and efficiency", said Velin Ganev, CEO of Danubius Exim.
The FP950MX integrates easily with management and billing systems and is suitable for any type of merchant, from the retail and HoReCa industries.
The FP950MX works by connecting directly to merchants' management and billing systems, being compatible with both ERP systems and digital commercial platforms, as well as with the ANAF infrastructure. The device allows automatic transmission of data from issued and printed tax receipts as well as end-of-day reports to ANAF servers.
Retailers who tested the FP950MX in the pilot program enjoyed a operational uptime of over 99% and they noticed a significant reduction in working time of the financial and accounting departments, as well as complete elimination of human errors – an essential factor in reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
“We have transformed a seemingly trivial piece of equipment associated with tax compliance obligations into a real business partner for merchants of all sizes – from independent shops and restaurants to national chains. The FP950MX reflects Danubius Exim’s commitment to going beyond legal requirements, offering solutions that bring value every day: helping customers reduce costs, automate processes, have full control over commercial data and, most importantly, save time – time they can invest in growing their business,” concluded Velin Ganev, CEO of Danubius Exim.
