Thanks to technological trends that have also had a major impact in the fiscal sphere, we are witnessing transformations that until recently seemed almost impossible.

Currently, these fiscal devices have integrated many functions that considerably ease the activity of economic operators. Here are the most used operations on the cash register and what they are useful for.

1. The X verification report

This informative report is used to verify, throughout the day, the total sales recorded in the cash register. It is of real use considering that the Z report, which is performed at the end of the program, is shorter after the electronic log is entered.

All data provided by the X report is no longer available after you have issued the daily closing fiscal report. On the basis of the Z report and the register, the revenues obtained are recorded in the accounting records. It should also be noted that the registration of the Z report in the accounting records is still mandatory, even if the user's obligation to submit the A4200 has been removed (in the context of connecting fiscal machines to the ANAF system).

2. Cancellation of a tax receipt

Among the most used operations on the cash register is the cancellation of a tax receipt. The law provides for two situations in which cancellation of the receipt is allowed. Either the sales operator entered the wrong amount, or the customer changed his mind and stopped paying for one or more products for various reasons. The procedure is described in detail in the methodological norms for the application of the O.U.G. no. 28/1999, approved by H.G. no. 479/2003, republished, with subsequent amendments.

Issuing tax receipts with negative values and canceling or correcting an operation after the receipt has been issued is prohibited.

3. Taxation of the cash register

After you have purchased a cash register from an authorized dealer, as required by law, the machine must go through a process called taxation. In short, the operation involves entering the identification data of the economic operator - header, VAT rates, time, date and fiscal series. This stage is handled by an authorized technician, but the economic operator has the obligation to draw up the necessary documentation to obtain the fiscal number. See here how long it takes to check the cash register.

Why is it important to purchase cash registers from authorized dealers? Because they have the necessary certifications to sell fiscal equipment, a proof that the products comply with the requirements and rules imposed by the fiscal authorities. What's more, I can help you with the entire procedure so that you can focus on other administrative tasks. Danubius technicians can help you, for a fee, with the procedure of putting the cash register into operation, and the taxation and training are free of charge.

DATECS cash registers have CE certification and meet the highest quality standards.

4. Defiscalization of the cash register

Both the old cash registers that needed to be changed according to the new tax regulations, as well as the faulty tax machines, with the tax memory full, or which are abandoned because the workplace is closed or the company has to go through the tax clearance process.

Handing over the fiscal memory is mandatory and can only be done by a service unit approved by ANAF. A file must be drawn up for defiscalization and a report to be taken into account by the Fisc. The last step is the cancellation of the order number assigned by the Directorate of Public Finances.

5. Data reporting to ANAF

After connecting the cash register to ANAF's computer system, all sales data will be automatically transmitted by the machine after generating the daily closing Z report. The new procedure eliminates the obligation to submit the A4200 declaration, a file that companies had to send once a month, until the 20th, to the Tax Office. This simplifies the activity of economic operators who no longer have to call on service technicians and accountants to extract and transmit files.
